== Plot ==
Raghav Shetty, a powerful don and martial arts champion, kidnaps Siya Khurana from her film set in Hyderabad and takes her to Bangkok. Siya’s father tries to get help from the authorities, but no one agrees because Raghav is too influential and there is no treaty between India and Thailand. Finally, he suggests Ronny (Ranveer Pratap Singh), Siya’s ex-boyfriend and a skilled martial artist, to rescue her. At first, Ronny refuses, but later agrees as he needs money to help a mute boy named Subbu.

Past: Ronny first met Siya on a train and they fell in love. Raghav also liked Siya and wanted her. Ronny joined the Kalaripayattu martial arts academy in Kerala, run by Guruswamy, Raghav’s father and Ronny’s father’s friend. Under Guruswamy’s guidance, Ronny became a disciplined martial artist. Meanwhile, Siya’s father agrees to marry her to Raghav for money. When Raghav learns Siya loves Ronny, he poisons and kills Guruswamy. With tricks and lies, Raghav and Siya’s father create misunderstandings, forcing Siya and Ronny to separate.

Present: Ronny travels to Bangkok, defeats fighters in Raghav’s fight club, and rescues Siya from a hospital. They try to escape to India and briefly reunite, but Raghav’s men attack. Ronny is shot by Biju (Raghav’s right-hand man) and falls off a cliff. However, Ronny survives. When Raghav learns Biju spared Ronny, he kills Biju in anger.

Ronny returns, storms Raghav’s place, and defeats all his men. In the final fight, Raghav admits he killed Guruswamy. Furious, Ronny uses Guruswamy’s fighting style to defeat and kill Raghav. In the end, Ronny and Siya reunite, and Ronny becomes the new teacher at Guruswamy’s school.

The film Baaghi received mixed to negative reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, only 14% of 7 critics’ reviews were positive, with an average rating of 4.3/10. Bollywood Hungama was among the few to praise the film, giving it 3.5/5 stars and calling it a “typical masala entertainer” with strong action and performances. However, most critics were less impressed. Mohar Basu from The Times of India rated it 2.5/5, saying the film had little beyond Tiger Shroff’s action sequences. Ananya Bhattacharya from India Today gave it 2/5, suggesting it was worth watching only for the lead pair’s action scenes. Rohit Vats from Hindustan Times also gave 2/5, comparing it to a rushed mix of The Karate Kid, Bloodsport, and Ong Bak. Similarly, Anupama Chopra from Film Companion rated it 2/5, commenting that the film caters more to fans of martial arts moves than to lovers of cinema.

Its highest single-day collection was ₹15.51 crore on day three, but earnings started to drop after that, with business falling by 79% by the end of the second week. In total, the movie earned ₹106.03 crore in India and ₹21.02 crore overseas, making a worldwide gross of about ₹127.05 crore. This made Baaghi one of the highest-grossing films of Tiger Shroff’s career.
