She completed her early education in her village. She studied at Adarsh School for her 10th grade and JPB School in Damoh for her 12th grade. Later, she received professional acting training from the Balaji Group in Indore before moving to Mumbai to start her acting career.

== Acting Career ==
Chahat started her acting career in 2016 with the television show Pavitra Bandhan, where she played the role of Mishti Roy Choudhary. She then appeared in episodic roles in shows like Savdhaan India, Crime Patrol Satark, Hoshiyar, and India Alert.

She was initially cast as Radha in RadhaKrishn (2017) and appeared in promotional content, but the role was later recast before the show aired.

Her major breakthrough came in 2019 with Hamari Bahu Silk, where she played Pakhi Parekh. The role brought her recognition and appreciation. She later appeared in mythological and fiction shows such as Mahakali – Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, Tenali Rama, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga (as Princess Meher), Dwarkadheesh Bhagwan Shree Krishn – Sarvkala Sampann, and Mere Sai – Shraddha Aur Saburi.

From 2020 to 2021, she played the lead role in Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya. Between 2021 and 2024, she portrayed Mahua and Krishna Mishra Narayan in Nath: Zevar Ya Zanjeer. In 2024, she made a cameo appearance in Gehna: Zewar Ya Zanjeer.
