			After the events of De De Pyaar De, 52-year-old London-based NRI investor Ashish Mehra decides to meet the family of his 28-year-old girlfriend, Ayesha Khurana, to get their approval. His own family has already accepted their relationship.

			However, when Ashish meets Ayesha’s family, things quickly turn awkward and funny. Ayesha introduces him as someone who is “a little older” and divorced, but hides the fact that he is actually older than her father, Rajji. Ashish feels uncomfortable and asks her to tell the truth, but she refuses. Instead, she tells him to impress her parents like a younger man would.

			At first, Ayesha’s parents try to be modern and accept the large age gap. But once they discover that Ashish is nearly the same age as Rajji, tensions begin. To break their relationship, the parents bring in a young man (played by Meezaan Jafri) whose only goal is to win Ayesha and separate her from Ashish.
