	Er. Mandeep Singh was born on 8th March 1985 to a traditional Sikh family in New Delhi, India. He was the second male child and three years later his parents gave birth to a daughter. When he was born, his father & mother used to live in a close-knit joint family in their ancestral home but in 1994 when he was about 9-years-old his parents decided to separate from the rest of the family. The pain & grief of separation from rest of the family had left some emotional scars in Mandeep as a child but he was never forced or pressurized by his parents to ever stop visiting his relatives or cousins. He was particularly close to the elders of his relative families rather cousins and fondly enjoyed light-hearted moments and jokes with them. He would often continue visiting his relative’s family in the after school hours or spend a couple of days during school holidays at their place even until the age of eighteen before he was sent to another city for pursuing engineering. Among his own parents, Mandeep has always been very close to his mother and never tried to hide anything from her and his relationship with father is a quite formal one but friendly. He often used to help her mother in daily household chores and grocery shopping from the market. 	Er. Mandeep’s childhood has been a mix of struggles, challenges and adventure that framed a foundation for an experiential learning to a greater complexity of struggles & challenges that was destined for his adulthood. At just the age of three when he first stepped out his house to attend the first day of nursery school, he slipped through the long iron staircase rolling straight to the ground. When he attained his consciousness he was in the hospital with eyes completely swollen and bruises all over his body. Another major accident took place when was eleven. He accidently stepped over a glass window lying horizontally few meters above the ground as some construction work was going at home. His left leg cut through a crack on the glass window completely piercing the skin with underlying muscles of the whole leg. There was a heavy blood loss and nobody at home was aware during the incident to provide immediate medical aid. He was partially disabled for more than six months but luckily for him these are now just the bodily scars. Other than these two major childhood accidents he has always been vulnerable to minor accidents and injuries on his body but slowly he learnt to endure all the pain as he grew-up in life. His ability to bear bodily pain made him stronger and developed his liking for wrestling as a sport, which he enjoyed playing with his elder brother and neighbourhood friends. He fondly watched WWF sports on television and practiced the moves & style with his elder brother however, he has never been a kind of person who picks-up fights with others. He also took-up Karate as an extra-curricular sport in his school days that he pursued for five or six years. He participated in inter-school Karate championship under the weight category of 70 – 80 kilograms at the age of thirteen and won a silver medal. Throughout his childhood, he actively enjoyed playing various indoor games like chess, carom-board, ludo, monopoly, playing cards, video-games and outdoor sports too like hockey, football, badminton, table tennis, squash, cricket, basketball and volley ball. He actively participated in sports days and annual day celebrations in his school Cricket and basket-ball became his favourite team sports during teenage years. He never developed a passion for any particular game or sport to take it forward as a profession because through his lens most elders of his family were entrepreneurs and business person and his father too was a business man (trader) who made money by selling goods & services.		Er. Mandeep’s childhood has been a mix of struggles, challenges and adventure that framed a foundation for an experiential learning to a greater complexity of struggles & challenges that was destined for his adulthood. At just the age of three when he first stepped out his house to attend the first day of nursery school, he slipped through the long iron staircase rolling straight to the ground. When he attained his consciousness he was in the hospital with eyes completely swollen and bruises all over his body. Another major accident took place when was eleven. He accidently stepped over a glass window lying horizontally few meters above the ground as some construction work was going at home. His left leg cut through a crack on the glass window completely piercing the skin with underlying muscles of the whole leg. There was a heavy blood loss and nobody at home was aware during the incident to provide immediate medical aid. He was partially disabled for more than six months but luckily for him these are now just the bodily scars. Other than these two major childhood accidents he has always been vulnerable to minor accidents and injuries on his body but slowly he learnt to endure all the pain as he grew-up in life. His ability to bear bodily pain made him stronger and developed his liking for wrestling as a sport, which he enjoyed playing with his elder brother and neighbourhood friends. He fondly watched WWF sports on television and practiced the moves & style with his elder brother however, he has never been a kind of person who picks-up fights with others. He also took-up Karate as an extra-curricular sport in his school days that he pursued for five or six years. He participated in inter-school Karate championship under the weight category of 70 – 80 kilograms at the age of thirteen and won a silver medal.
