Anik M Iktear Uddin
A. M. Iktear Uddin, widely known as Advocate Anik, is an Indian lawyer, legal consultant, and co-founder of Prime Legal. In addition to handling high-profile cases involving criminal law, cybercrime, financial fraud, corporate matters, and law enforcement coordination, he is well-known for his work as a Special Public Prosecutor. In addition to working with significant firms in the fintech, recruitment, and cryptocurrency sectors, he has represented clients in a number of Indian courts.[1][2]

Early Life & Education
Anik was born in a small village in the Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal. He studied in a local school until the 8th standard. He relocated to Bangalore in 1999, where he finished his PUC in 2003 and SSLC in 2001. Later, he enrolled in Bangalore University's five-year LL.B. program, which he completed in 2008. In 2010, he graduated from "University Law College (ULC)" with an LL.M. in Business Law and Corporate Law, placing second with First Class distinction. He will always be a ULC alumnus.
Career
Anik began working in 2006, assisting a law firm in Malleswaram while co-founding Legal Troubleshooting, a service specializing in property verification and data protection laws. He also worked as a part-time lecturer at Bangalore School of Business.
During the period from 2010 to 2012, Anik was part of the Deshraj & PC Reddy Chambers, one of the leading law firms, where he mainly was in charge of civil cases and their related aspects. Then in 2012, he accepted the position of a Legal Associate at Dell India Pvt. Ltd. He went back to co-found the Prime Legal in the very next year.
2015 to 2019 was Anik's time when he worked for Associate Director at ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where he was handling the legal and law enforcement issues for various companies. 2019 was the year when he got back to Prime Legal and started the process of getting into partnerships with firms like Vidhikarya and other prestigious law firms in the country.
At the moment, Anik is a full-time lawyer, who provides legal assistance and representation in High Courts and other courts across India. Moreover, he is a consultant and an additional director for companies in the fields of fintech, recruitment, and cryptocurrency. He has also been involved in legal matters with the ED, CBI, CCB, and the Fraud Prevention Unit.[3][4]

Throughout his career, Advocate Anik has managed a variety of high-profile assignments. In addition to representing clients before organizations like the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Central Crime Branch (CCB), and the Ministry's Fraud Prevention Unit, he worked as a Special Public Prosecutor in significant double-murder cases. He has over 30,000 cybercrime cases under his belt. In a significant consumer dispute, he also won more than ₹1 million in compensation. In addition to managing law enforcement operations for numerous fintech and technology companies, Anik has played a significant role in developing legal strategies for numerous cryptocurrency exchanges and digital wallets. He has made a substantial contribution to criminal and corporate litigation as a co-founder of Prime Legal and Legal Troubleshooting.[5][6][7][8]
Legal Aid & Public Service
Anik worked closely with the District Legal Aid Services from 2012 to 2015, where he was a conciliator and successfully assisted in the mediation of over 10,000 cases. He has shown a strong dedication to public service by pro bono representing a number of impoverished litigants. Through his law firm, which frequently offers free legal aid to those who cannot afford representation, he continues to be committed to accessible justice.[9][10][11][12][13]

He worked closely with several state police departments while working for different law firms and businesses, and he was well-known for his assistance. Personal Life
Anik’s father was Late Abdul Jalil, and his mother was Late Shanaz Pareen Anwara. He grew up in a dual-faith family, experiencing both Muslim and Hindu cultures. As a result, he has a deep understanding of both faiths and holds great respect for both religions. He married to Ayantika Mondal on 5 October 2014. She is also a lawyer and comes from a strong academic background.
