Early Life & Education
Ashnoor Kaur was born on 3 May 2004 in New Delhi to a Sikh-Punjabi family, Ashnoor Kaur grew up in a supportive environment with her parents, Gurmeet Singh and Avneet Kaur.[3][4] During her early years, she worked hard in school while also exploring her love for the performing arts. She attended Ryan International School in Mumbai, where she excelled academically, scoring 93% in her Class 10 CBSE exams in 2019 and 94% in her Class 12 boards in 2021. Valuing both education and acting, she later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from Jai Hind College in 2024..[5][6]
Managing her acting career alongside her studies was challenging. In interviews, Ashnoor has shared that taking time off for a traditional college experience was important for her growth. She mentioned that this period helped her become a more well-rounded person, combining her education with her creativity.
Career
At the age of five, Ashnoor Kaur made her acting debut in Jhansi Ki Rani (2009) as Prachi.[7][8] She went on to play iconic roles like Suman Indori in the romantic drama Suman Indori (2024–2025), Mini Khurana in Patiala Babes (2018–2020), Young Naira Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (2015–2016), and Navika Vyas Bhatnagar in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (2012). She became one of the most sought-after young actors in Indian television thanks to her ability to portray innocence, emotion, and maturity in a balanced manner.Alongside TV, she has appeared in Bollywood films like Sanju (2018) and Manmarziyaan (2018), and expanded her presence on digital platforms with web series including Pari Hun Main (2021), Butterflies (2024), and School Friends Season 3 (2025).[9]

Her most well-known roles are those of Young Naira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Mini Khurana in Patiala Babes. In addition to television, she has acted in Bollywood movies such as Manmarziyaan (2018) and Sanju (2018).
