Early Life & Education

Qazi Touqeer was born in the city of Srinagar in Kashmir. His family had connections with law, spirituality, and music. His father worked as a lawyer and later moved toward Sufism. His mother taught school and later retired early. His uncle, Qazi Rafi, was a Kashmiri singer. Music and faith both mattered a lot in how he was raised.

Career

Qazi Touqeer gained nationwide recognition in 2005 when he participated in Sony Entertainment Television's singing reality show Fame Gurukul.
