Vishal Kumar
Vishal Kumar professionally known as Vishal Sir, is an Indian educator and entrepreneur based in Motihari, Bihar. He is the founder and director of Vishal JEE NEET Classes, a coaching institute that prepares students for competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, and CUET. Known for his focus on conceptual clarity and personalized teaching, he has helped numerous students achieve top ranks in board and national-level exams.[1]

Early Life & Education
Vishal Kumar was born on 12 April 1995 in a middle-class family in Motihari, Bihar. He completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Motihari, securing a 10 CGPA in Class 10 and 465 out of 500 (93%) in Class 12, achieving the second-highest marks in East Champaran district.
In his JEE Mains appearance, he received a score of 197 out of 360 and an All India Rank of 11,283. He attended NIT Patna to pursue a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, earning a CGPA of 8.6 upon graduation in 2017. He volunteered with Sankalp, an NGO that offers free education to impoverished children in Patna, while he was a college student.
Career
After graduation, Vishal Kumar started teaching JEE candidates physics at Avanti Classes in Mumbai. Later on, he worked with online learning platforms like Basidia Learning, BYJU'S, and Unacademy.
He established Vishal JEE NEET Classes in Motihari in 2019 with the goal of offering Kota-level coaching at a reasonable cost. Under his direction, the school has become known for turning out top students in both board and national competitive exams.[2]
Notable Works
Vishal Sir is well-known for his weekly assessments, motivational sessions, and well-organized lesson plans. He has assisted hundreds of students in getting accepted into prestigious universities such as AIIMS, NITs, IITs, and other government colleges. His school places a strong emphasis on individualized care, test-focused study techniques, and regular performance monitoring.
Achievements and Recognition
In 2023, one of his students, Anwesha Jha, secured 98.6% in Class 10, reportedly the highest in Motihari’s history. Vishal Kumar's dedication to providing high-quality education is demonstrated by the fact that his students routinely receive top scores on competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CUET, and others.
As part of his ongoing efforts to provide disadvantaged children with access to high-quality education, Vishal Sir intends to launch an NGO in Motihari that will provide free education.
