Early Life & Education
Farhana Bhat was born on 15 March 1997 in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. She encountered the difficulties of a conservative upbringing in the Valley, where pursuing a career in acting or entertainment was frequently discouraged. She nevertheless fostered her love of the performing arts from a young age.
She showed a keen interest in dance, theater, and martial arts from an early age. But in her hometown, it was difficult to pursue acting as a career. Farhana had to follow her dreams despite social constraints and criticism, so she mainly relied on her willpower and her family's unobtrusive support.
Farhana has both artistic talent and a strong academic record. She graduated from the Government College for Women in Srinagar with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. Her confidence in media, public speaking, and storytelling was bolstered by her academic background.
She later enrolled in Anupam Kher's esteemed acting school, "Actor Prepares," in Mumbai to hone her acting skills and receive instruction in cutting-edge methods. To increase her versatility as a performer, she also participated in theater workshops that focused on the traditional "Navrasa" (nine emotions).
