Pirzada Saud Siddique al Qadri is a distinguished Sunni Sufi figure, Islamic scholar, and spiritual leader associated with the revered Siddiqui Qurayshi and Syed lineages of Furfura Sharif, considered the second most sacred Muslim pilgrimage site in India. He is the fourth generation descendant of the freedom fighter Pir Abu Bakr Siddiq Al Qureshi Furfurabi (R.A.) and is known for his religious sermons (Waz), writings, and dedication to Sufi traditions.

Early Life & Education

Pirzada Saud Siddiqui Al Qadri was born in West Medinipur, West Bengal, into the noble Siddiqui Qurayshi and Syed lineages of Furfura Sharif. His ancestral home lies in the historic spiritual center of Furfura Sharif, which has an 800-year legacy of Islamic scholarship and Sufi traditions.

He is the only child of his father, Siraj-e-Millat Shah Sufi Pir Siraj Siddiqui Al Qurayshi, a descendant of the first Caliph of Islam, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (R.A.), and his mother, a descendant of Imam Hussain (A.S.). He received his early education in madrassas and later studied at Furfura Fatehia Senior Title Madrasa, due to which “Fatehi” is often attached to his name.

In 2020, he obtained Ijazah Sanad in Hadith studies (Halaqat al-tarbiyya) from Shaykh al-Islam Dr. Allama Tahir ul Qadri (Hafizahullah), recognized as the Mujaddid (reviver) of the 15th Islamic century. He also received discipleship from his father and guidance from notable scholars in India, Bangladesh, and the Arab world.

Career

Pirzada Saud Siddiqui Al Qadri is renowned for his religious preaching, scholarly writings, and revival of Islamic traditions. His sermons focus on jurisprudence, theology, spirituality, Sufism, Hadith, and Islamic philosophy. Many religious books have been published under his guidance, and he frequently contributes to Islamic journals and newspapers.

He has received Bay’ah (oath of allegiance) in the four Tariqas of the Furfura Silsila in India – Qadriyyah, Chishti, Naqshbandi, and Mujaddidi – under the hand of Badrut Tariqat, Burhanul Awliya Shah Sufi Pir Allama Badruddin Saeed Al Azhari Misri (R.A.) of Calcutta Alia University.

He is also a lifelong member of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, an organization founded by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri to promote moderate Islam, interfaith harmony, and Sufi traditions.

Achievements and Recognition

Pirzada Saud Siddiqui Al Qadri descends from the family of Pir Muhammad Abu Bakar Siddiqui Al Qurayshi, founder of the Furfura Silsila in Bengal. His ancestor, Hazrat Mujaddid-e-Zaman Abu Bakar Siddiq (R.A.), was a great reformer of the 14th Hijri century, credited with spreading Islamic knowledge, eradicating polytheism and innovations, and establishing numerous madrassas and Sufi schools.

Through his association with Minhaj-ul-Quran International, which holds special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2011, he continues to be an influential Islamic scholar and spiritual leader.
