Ashneer Grover was born on 14 June 1982 in Delhi, India.He attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, to obtain a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. He participated in a student exchange program at INSA Lyon University in France from 2002 to 2003. He earned his master's degree in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad in 2006.

Career

Grover started his career with Kotak Investment Bank and later worked at American Express, Grofers, and PC Jeweller Ltd.

He co-founded "BharatPe" in 2018 with Bhavik Koladiya and Shashvat Nakrani. Leading administration and procurement, his wife, Madhuri Jain Grover, was also instrumental in the business. After discussions about the PwC audit report about his behavior, Grover resigned from his position as BharatPe's managing director and board director on February 28, 2022.
