Sara Arjun (born ) is an Indian actress who works in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She began performing at a very young age, and her portrayal of Nila in the 2011 Tamil movie Deiva Thirumagal helped her gain widespread recognition. Both critics and audiences praised her performance. She later acted in many successful films including Saivam, Ek Thi Daayan, Jazbaa, and the Ponniyin Selvan series. Additionally, she will feature in the forthcoming Hindi movie Dhurandhar (2025).
Early Life
Sara Arjun was born 18 June 2005 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of actor Raj Arjun. At the age of one and a half, she began doing commercials. She appeared in over 100 commercials prior to her film debut.
Career
Sara got her first advertisement when she was seen at a mall by a talent scout.[1][2] Later on, she made appearances in more than 100 advertisements, including a well-known McDonald's commercial. After viewing her previous work, director A. L. Vijay decided to cast her in Deiva Thirumagal (2011). She became well-known throughout India for her portrayal of the endearing and sensitive child, Nila, which was highly praised.
