Mumtaaj Sarfudeen was born on 14 August 1989 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She grew up in Egmore, Chennai, where her family lived for over two decades before moving to Anna Nagar.

She completed her schooling at Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Egmore. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Women’s Christian College, Chennai, and later completed a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University through Loyola College. She also holds diplomas in International Airline and Travel Management and Cabin Crew Training, along with certifications in Pranic Healing and Digital Marketing.

Career

Mumtaaj began her professional career in the corporate sector and worked on international projects with companies such as Citigroup, TCS, Siemens, RRD, Matrix, and UST between 2003 and 2014. She held supervisory and managerial roles, managing large teams and high-volume operations.

In 2017, she transitioned into digital content creation, focusing on beauty and makeup. She collaborated with international and Indian brands and attended advanced virtual masterclasses with Colourpop Cosmetics. Alongside beauty content, she developed skills as a coffee artist, specializing in latte art.
