Hardik Pandya is a renowned Indian international cricketer for his ability to perform under pressure. Early Life & Education

Hardik Pandya was born on 11 October 1993 in Choryasi, Surat, Gujarat. His father, Himanshu Pandya, moved the family to Vadodara for better cricket training opportunities for his sons. Hardik and his brother Krunal were enrolled at Kiran More’s cricket academy.

The financial constraint made the family live in a rented house, and they used to travel to practice in a second-hand car. Hardik studied at MK High School, Vadodara, but he left schooling after his ninth standard and completely concentrated on cricket. He used to be a leg-spinner in his childhood times and, as advised by his coaches, started fast bowling.

Career

Hardik Pandya started domestic cricket for Baroda in the year 2013. He was one of the crucial performers for Baroda in their win in the 2013-14 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His aggressive batting and quality bowling made him a regular in the Baroda side quickly.

Indian Premier League

Pandya started his journey with Mumbai Indians in 2015 and became one of their main match-winners. He claimed several IPL trophies with Mumbai. Then, in 2022, he was given the leadership of newly established Gujarat Titans, and he became their inaugural IPL championship winner. He again became the Mumbai Indians captain in 2024.

International Career
