Early Life & Education
Indresh Upadhyayji was born on 7 August 1997 inVrindavan, Uttar Pradesh into a brahmin vaishnav family. He was born in a family in which all its members were devotees of Krishna. Indresh’s father (Sri Krishnachandra Shastri) is famous Bhagwat kathakaar.
Indresh Upadhyay’s family are all devotees, he listens to them all and is very good, so it is a great thing for them that the spirituality in him was more than that of ordinary boys.
he completed his early schooling at Kanha Makhan Public School in Vrindavan. In additon he learned the entire Shrimad Bhagwat Purana by the age of 13 with his father's guidance. He has has mentioned in one of his interviews that he is very fond of singing in the beginning. He became a singer and by the grace of Parantu Girdharlalji, he chose Bhaktipath to guide the youth of today.
Career
Indresh Upadhyay has been telling Bhagwat Katha since he was quite young. He would weave together elements of devotion, religious storytelling, and musical chanting in his talk. His first well-documented Katha performance came in 2015 at Dwarka in the state of Gujarat, where he was still quite young, in his teens. People appreciated the honesty of his talk, his youthfulness, and his knack for associating ancient Hindu texts with modern life.
In the years that followed, his popularity grew in various parts of the country, mainly in the younger generation, who were attracted to his distinct and interactive approach to spiritual communications. To further spread his spiritual reach, he established BhaktiPath, a spiritual movement that focuses on the spread of the teachings of Bhagwat Katha, devotional songs, and the essence of devotion, service, and spirituality.
