He received traditional education in Sanskrit, Vedas, Upanishads, and Hindu philosophy under eminent saints and scholars of the Sanatan tradition.

Career

He was initiated into monastic life by Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, the former Shankaracharya of Dwarka and Jyotir Math. After years of spiritual discipline and scholarly training, he was anointed as the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math.
