Dr. Ebha Patel is an Indian entrepreneur, AI researcher, and public figure known for her work in women empowerment and rural development. She established and now leads "Ghar Ayee Nanhi Pari" which makes her the first woman engineer from her hometown. She works with Sarpanch Samvaad through her role at the Quality Council of India while she has held global ambassador duties for WomenTech Network.

Early Life

Dr. Ebha Patel entered the world in Khadepur village, which belongs to Uttar Pradesh state in India. She grew up in a rural environment where she faced social challenges because of gender bias which existed at that time. The second girl child to be born into her family, she experienced societal pressure but dedicated herself to achieving progress for women and girls.

Dr. Patel obtained her Master of Computer Education degree from IMS Ghaziabad after achieving state rank 296. He advanced his studies to pursue a PhD program in Artificial Intelligence, which he specifically designed to help with rural development.

Career

Dr. Ebha Patel started out her career as a software developer who worked with multiple organizations including The Times of India and Zee News and ICMR and NIHFW and different government organizations. She helped develop important government digital systems which included Mother Child Tracking System and Arogya Setu and DigiLocker and UMANG and eDistrict platforms.

She participates in Sarpanch Samvaad activities which the Quality Council of India oversees and she has served as a global ambassador for WomenTech Network. Her known work includes carrying out government programs at the Panchayat level.

The initiative Ghar Ayee Nanhi Pari was launched in 2021 to create better social attitudes toward girls who are born to families. The program celebrates the birth of girls who are newborns while it assists their mothers through healthcare services and vaccination programs and government welfare scheme information.

The program welcomes all family members to participate in the ceremonial events which function as family recognition celebrations so they can create cultural changes that reach local communities. The program has obtained support from government officials and local administration organizations who recognize its value.

The program has provided honors to more than 9000 newborn girls and their mothers throughout Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat since its establishment in January 2026. The program has helped several government programs reach their goals through its work at the community level.

The program has achieved three main objectives through its work which includes fostering gender equality and raising awareness about maternal and child healthcare and increasing community involvement which now leads to positive changes in how rural populations view girl child births.

Notable Works

Dr. Patel established Ghar Ayee Nanhi Pari in 2021 to establish a celebration system which recognizes the birth of girl children while providing better maternal and child healthcare education to rural communities. The program works to provide vaccinations and maternal health assessments while creating awareness about JSY and PMMVY programs.

Her work has developed gender equality and improved local governance systems through her partnerships with Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers and Panchayat officials.
