Muskan Sheikh is an Indian powerlifter and athlete. She achieved national and global fame after winning four gold medals at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship which took place in Auckland New Zealand.[1][2] She later participated as a contestant in Battleground Season 2.

Early Life & Education

Muskan Sheikh was born in Shivpuri district Madhya Pradesh India in the small village named Majhera. From her earliest years, she demonstrated strong dedication to athletics. She began her athletic career through handball but later discovered that powerlifting suited her better because of her innate physical capacity to excel.

Career

Muskan began her journey in sports with handball and competed at national levels between 2017 and 2019. She dedicated herself to powerlifting after she began to practice the sport professionally from 2019 onward.

Her breakthrough came when she represented India at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship in Auckland, New Zealand. She achieved gold medal victories in all three events, including a squat lift of 105 kg, a bench press of 57.5 kg, and a deadlift of 120 kg.

Muskan Sheikh participated in Battleground Season 2 as a contestant.[3][4] She joined a team which Rahul Chaudhari mentored and she competed through multiple challenges under his guidance.

She shared her team with fellow contestants Rohit Singh, Sayam Gupta, and Gunjan Sharma.
