Kushagra Kumar is an Indian data scientist, mentalist, cognitive coach, and computer programmer. He is well known for his work across cognitive science, mentalism, and artificial intelligence. He became rather famous pretty early, thanks to his achievements in science and math contests—like the NASA NSS Gerard O'Neill Space Settlement Design Contest and the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO).[1][2]

Kushagra is also recognized for mixing modern data science with mindfulness, mental training, and older cognitive traditions, to raise focus, awareness and human performance.

Early Life & Education

Kushagra Kumar was born in Bokaro, Jharkhand, India. From childhood, he was curiosity about science, mathematics, psychology, and problem solving. During his school days he took part in a lot of science and academic competitions.

When he was 12 , he joined the District Science Congress and later became a winner at the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO). In 2009, he got international attention at the NASA NSS Gerard O'Neill Space Settlement Design Contest for his project Griham , where students from more than 70 countries took part.

Kushagra completed his Engineering degree in Computer Science and later went for a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata.

Career

Kushagra Kumar has worked with different product based companies, as a Statistical Analyst and Data Scientist. His responsibilities cover data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, programming, plus cognitive research.

Along with his technical career, he also somehow developed skills in mentalism, hypnosis, cognitive coaching, and mindfulness practices. He started getting known for using scientific ways and mental training techniques to help people improve focus, observation, awareness, and the whole decision making skills. He has run workshops and training programs for students, professionals, and institutions in education. These programs focused on developing cognitive abilities, mind consciousness, focus and concentration, performance, human intelligence, and increasing productivity.

Kushagra also took part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge and got recognition as a Local Impactor. Later on, he joined the Microsoft Imagine Cup and launched a productivity tool called TaskFlow AI.

He is active on Instagram, where he shares content around psychology, intelligence, mindfulness, and self development.[3]

Notable Works

Kushagra Kumar is known for building the productivity platform TaskFlow AI and running Cognitive Science Workshops as well as Mentalism Programs that aim at awareness, focus and human intelligence development. He has also organized Human Intelligence Training Sessions, for students and professionals. One of his early projects was Griham which was presented at the NASA NSS Gerard O'Neill Space Settlement Design Contest.

Kushagra Kumar gained recognition at a young age for his achievements in science and mathematics competitions, not long after. He received recognition at the NASA NSS Gerard O'Neill Space Settlement Design Contest in 2009 for his project Griham.

He also became a winner at the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) . After that, he was recognized as a Local Impactor at the NASA Space Apps Challenge, which is one of the world’s largest hackathons.

He even took part in the Microsoft Imagine Cup , and then he launched the productivity platform TaskFlow AI.

Kushagra Kumar has interests in psychology, artificial intelligence, and human behavior. According to him, intelligence can be enhanced through self-awareness, discipline, observation, and mind training. Besides his profession, he also takes an active interest in educational and humanitarian efforts in various areas.
