Early Life & Education
Santoshkumar Tripathi was born on 21 June 1982 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, into a middle-class family. Later he shifted to Vadodara, Gujarat, and that’s where he spent most of his working years. He finished his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) between 2001 and 2003.
Career
Santoshkumar Tripathi began his professional journey with journalism and acting. From the year 2012 onwards, he has been working in Indian movies and entertainment sector in roles as actor, casting director, and producer.
He has acted in over 25 Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi movies. He has also established himself as a Casting Director for television series like 'Kakbhushundi Ramayan' telecast on DD National and 'Kaamdhenu Gaumata' aired on channels like Star Bharat, DD National, and Shemaroo.
Santoshkumar Tripathi has formed Kalabhumi Casting Company, a casting firm that acts as a facilitator between talented artists and their entry into the world of films, television serials, web series, and advertisements. Based out of Mumbai and Vadodara, this company has collaborated with many production companies based all over India.
In 2020, he has further expanded his empire by setting up Kalabhumi Academy, where he teaches acting, modeling, and dance to budding artists. Apart from this, he has also set up Kalabhumi Entertainment, a production company aimed at nurturing talents and creating content.
