Dr. Hiranmay Ray is an Indian academician, researcher ,author, and an educational administrator. He has written a number of academic books and also put out research papers in both national and international journals. Early Life & Education
Dr. Hiranmay Ray was born on 28 February 1985 in Purulia, West Bengal, India. He did his schooling through the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education .
Dr. Hiranmay Ray completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, and later he took a Master of Arts in English at the University of Madras. He also finished his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Ramkrishna Dharmartha Foundation University in Bhopal, along with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration , (WBUTTEPA).
He further completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, and eventually earned a Ph.D. in Management from Techno India University, Kolkata.
Besides all of this, he also has a Diploma in Computer Teacher Training, a Diploma in Leadership and Management, and a Certificate Course in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Career
Dr. Ray has been linked with Bharat Sevashram Sangha for over fifteen years, and in that span he has contributed, quite a lot to the administrative side as well as the learning oriented activities. At the same time he also picked up teaching experience via his work with PMI USA and GSS Info Solution Pvt. Ltd.
For more than nine years he served as an Assistant Professor at Khamargachi Primary Teachers' Training Institute and Khamargachi B.Ed College, Hooghly, West Bengal. In general his academic leaning covers educational management, teacher education, value based education, guidance, and counselling, also educational philosophy. Sometimes it feels like all these topics sort of come together, in practice.
Throughout his career he has taken part in educational development, institutional management, and academic research on a regular basis.

Dr. Hiranmay Ray lives at Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Kolkata. He’s good in Bengali English, Hindi and Sanskrit . Besides his studies and research, he seems to enjoy music,yoga, spirituality and social service in his own gentle way. What he does, really shows a sense for holistic learning, ethical virtues and community development, more than just papers or papers alone.
