Early Life & Education
Dhruv Chauhan was born on 6 April 1995 in Old Delhi, India, into a Rajput family. He basically grew up in the tight lanes of Old Delhi, and there he learnt how hard work and determination matter. He finished his schooling at a commercial school in Delhi, then later joined Zakir Hussain College. During those college days, he developed a keen interest in dance and performing arts, which slowly pushed him to move toward a professional career in the entertainment world.
Career
Dhruv Chauhan started out as a dancer, and also as a wedding choreographer. He went on to do endless wedding shows , and then later he finally got the opportunity to work on choreography for well known people and brands such as Yo Yo Honey Singh, Thums Up, and Hero. Then one turning point happened unexpectedly. During an event, the main anchor couldn’t make it for the show. Dhruv stepped in, picked up the mic, and hosted the whole event on his own. The crowd really liked his confidence and the way he owned the stage. After that, he decided to become a professional anchor. He attended many anchoring workshops and completed professional diploma courses to improve my skills. With continuous learning and experience, he became a well-known professional anchor. Today, people appreciate my work and regularly invite me to host weddings, corporate events, private functions, and other special occasions. Over the years, he has hosted hundreds of weddings, corporate gatherings, private occasions, plus international shows. Because of his work, he has traveled to Canada, Dubai, Mauritius, Thailand, Vietnam, and even Phuket. Inspired by The Kapil Sharma Show , Dhruv also moved into comedy and character based entertainment. He developed multiple comic personas, and he keeps audiences laughing during live events. Some of his famous characters are Dubai Sheikh, Dream Girl Pooja, Amitabh Bachchan in Kaun Banega Roadpati, Sunil Shetty, Arvind Kejriwal, Joker, and Diljit Dosanjh. Besides these role performances, he also does stand up comedy shows. Dhruv is an accomplished Bachata dancer as well. He has collected several trophies in Bachata dance competitions, so people in the Delhi NCR region know him a lot for his dance skills.
