Rakhi Khanduja is an Indian Certified Positive Parent Coach and Parent & Child Counselor whose work promotes positive parenting and stronger parent-child relationships. Armed with formal training in child psychology and education, she is an NHCA-certified professional and holds degrees from New Delhi Institute of Management, Allahabad University, and Delhi University. She started a parenting clinic in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, called VAATSALYA: A Journey of Unconditional Love and Bonding, where guiding families towards nurturing, supportive, and empathetic styles of parenting is her agenda. Rakhi has her own educational material published, has held more than 20 webinars on critical parenting issues, and has provided one-on-one help to more than 200 parents.
Early Life & Education
Rakhi Khanduja was born and raised in India. From an early age, she developed a keen interest in education and social service, which inspired her to pursue a career in the field of child psychology and parenting. She completed her graduation from Delhi University, followed by an MBA from the New Delhi Institute of Management in 1999. She later earned a B.Ed (Shiksha Visharad) degree from Allahabad University in 2003. Her strong academic foundation, combined with a deep understanding of child development and psychology, laid the groundwork for her future professional journey.
Career
Rakhi Khanduja is the founder of VAATSALYA: A Journey of Unconditional Love and Bonding, a parenting clinic based in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Through VAATSALYA, she guides families in fostering nurturing environments built on empathy, understanding, and positive parenting principles.
She authored the Hindi curriculum book for Class VI for Parwarish Care Foundation in 2022, showcasing her commitment to educational development. From October 2021 to January 2023, she served as Parent Relationship Manager at Parvarish Parenting Institute Ltd., where she worked to strengthen connections between parents and valuable parenting resources.
Rakhi has conducted more than 20 webinars, both online and offline, on issues such as bullying, examination stress, substance abuse, and sexual abuse. She also collaborated with Jito East Delhi to host an open webinar on parenting on 28 July 2023.
Over the past two years, she has provided personalised one-on-one online parenting sessions to more than 200 parents, offering tailored guidance to address modern parenting challenges. Additionally, she has enhanced her professional expertise by completing the ADULTING++ course by SOULUP.
