Early Life & Education

Santoshkumar Tripathi was born on 21 June 1982 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, into a middle-class family. Later he moved to Vadodara, Gujarat and that’s where he spent most of his working years . He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) during 2001 to 2003.

Career

Santoshkumar Tripathi started his pro journey with journalism and acting , you know kind of both together. From around 2012 onwards, he has been working in the Indian movies and entertainment scene, doing different roles like actor, casting director, producer, in general.

He has acted in more than 25 Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi movies , and somehow keeps that rhythm going. He also got known as a Casting Director for television series such as 'Kakbhushundi Ramayan' which was telecast on DD National, and 'Kaamdhenu Gaumata' aired on Star Bharat, DD National , and Shemaroo.

Santoshkumar Tripathi went ahead and formed Kalabhumi Casting Company, basically a casting firm that works like a bridge or intermediary between skilled artists and their entry into the film world, TV serials, web series, plus advertisements. The setup is based in Mumbai and Vadodara, and they’ve teamed up with many production companies from everywhere across India.

In 2020, he has expanded again by creating Kalabhumi Academy where he teaches acting, modeling, and dance to aspiring artists. Besides that, he also established Kalabhumi Entertainment, a production company designed for developing talent and producing fresh content.

Another venture, which he initiated is Kalabhumi Cinema, a blog and entertainment media portal. It shares info about films, acting advice, audition updates, and the behind-the-scenes stuff about artists , like what happens off camera and all.
