Dr. Krishna Somepalli
Dr. Krishna Somepalli is an Indian orthodontist and entrepreneur. He is the founder of VESTYN Education in India and the Estonia, as well as the founder of VIASTEU Institute. He is widely associated with transnational education (highern& vocational) training, and curriculum development that incorporates interactive learning technologies and real-world simulation methodologies. He is currently leading the establishment of the VIASTEU Undergraduate Center of Excellence in Nagaon, Assam. An Indian national and European resident, Dr. Somepalli brings more than two decades of professional experience in healthcare, academic research, and international education development.

Early Life & Education
Dr. Krishna Somepalli completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Gulbarga University, India, around the year 2000. Between 2002 and 2003, he was associated with GDP-related healthcare programs in Singapore. From 2004 to 2007, he worked with the Health Department in South Africa, gaining practical experience in public healthcare systems and administration. He later moved to Austria for advanced studies and academic research, completing his master’s education between 2009 and 2013. In 2013, he earned an MSD in Orthodontics from Austria. He subsequently completed an MBA in 2016. In 2001, he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) from Hyderabad, India.
Career
Dr. Krishna Somepalli began his professional journey in healthcare and Oral sciences before expanding into transnational education (higher and vocational training). Between 2002 and 2003, he worked in Singapore on healthcare programs linked to GDP initiatives. From 2004 to 2007, he was associated with the Health Department in South Africa, where he gained extensive experience in public healthcare practice and administration.
He later pursued further education and academic research in Austria. Between 2013 and 2016, he continued his professional and academic work in Amsterdam, specializing in orthodontics (Kieferorthopädie).
In 2016, Dr. Somepalli founded VESTYN Education, an organization focused on healthcare education, workforce training, and international academic collaboration between India and the European Union. He also established the VIAST Institute and subsequently launched the VIAST European College initiative in Northeast India. His work has focused on curriculum development through interactive educational technologies, simulation-based learning, and practical healthcare training programs. He has consistently advocated for accessible and inclusive healthcare education systems that support students from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Somepalli has also promoted international collaborations in healthcare training and academic exchange programs, contributing to stronger educational partnerships between India and European institutions.
His research interests include cranial base correlation with dental arch development and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. His professional expertise spans orthodontics, healthcare education, vocational training development, curriculum design, interactive educational technologies, international academic collaboration, and simulation-based healthcare training methodologies.
