Early Life
Manisha Rani was born on 9 June 1997 into a middle-class family in the Munger district of Bihar. Her father is Manoj Kumar Chandi and her mother is Ragini Devi. Her parents separated when she was eight years old, after which she and her four siblings were raised by her father. She completed her early education in Munger. Driven by her passion for dance, she later moved to Kolkata, where she worked various jobs, including as a waitress and background dancer, while pursuing her dream in the entertainment industry.
Career
Manisha Rani began her television journey with Dance India Dance Season 5, where she was eliminated in the early rounds. She later appeared in a guest role in the television serial Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari (2020). After years of struggle, she gained widespread recognition in 2023 through Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, finishing as the 2nd runner-up. In 2024, she returned to television as a wild-card contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and went on to win the season.
