She made her acting debut in Fugly (2014) but rose to fame with her portrayal of Sakshi Rawat in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). Early Life & Education

Kiara Advani was born Alia Advani on 31 July 1992 in [Mumbai], Maharashtra, to a Sindhi Hindu businessman Jagdeep Advani and Genevieve Jaffrey, a teacher of Scottish, Irish, Portuguese, and Spanish descent. She changed her first name to Kiara before entering films, on the suggestion of Salman Khan.

She studied at Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, and later graduated in Mass Communication from Jai Hind College, Mumbai.

Career

Debut and Early Work (2014–2016)

Kiara made her film debut with Fugly (2014), which received mixed reviews. Her breakthrough came in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), where she played Sakshi Rawat, the wife of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film was a huge box-office success and brought her widespread recognition.
