Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is a romantic drama film in Hindi that was written and directed by Milap Zaveri and Mushtaq Shiekh.[1] The film is produced under the banner Desi Movies Factory and stars Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles. On October 21, 2025, which is Diwali, it is slated to be released in theaters.[2]

Plot

kramaditya, a politician, falls in love with Adaa, a carefree woman who believes love means freedom, not control. When Vikramaditya's love turns into obsession and his jealousy takes over, their fervent romance quickly descends into darkness. Their tale demonstrates how love can be both lovely and harmful as suffering and betrayal ensue. The movie examines how intense feelings can either strengthen or weaken a relationship and is set in a world of music, memories, and heartbreak.

Development

Under the working title Deewaniyat, the movie was formally announced on February 14, 2025.[3] The title was later changed to Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat in May 2025.[4]

Soundtrack

Kunaal Vermaa, Kaushik–Guddu, Annkur R Pathakk, Rajat Nagpal, Rahul Mishra, and Lijo George – DJ Chetas are the composers of the movie's soundtrack.

Sameer Anjaan, Siddhant Kaushal, Sachin Urmtosh, Prince Dubey, and Kunaal Vermaa wrote the lyrics.

Release

To coincide with the Diwali festival, the film's original release date of October 2, 2025, was rescheduled to October 21, 2025.
