Kajal Suri is an Indian child psychologist, special educator, RCI licensed rehabilitation personnel and author. She is the founder and Director of Thomas Kids International and has been working for more than two decades in the field of child psychology, emotional development and special education.
Early Life and Education
Kajal Suri was born on 21 December 1984 in Delhi, India. She completed her schooling in Delhi. From a young age, she was interested in child behaviour, emotional development and psychology, which led her to choose psychology as her main field.
Her educational qualifications include:
- Graduation – Delhi University (2002–2005)
- MA in Psychology – Sabarmati University (2014–2016)
- PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology – Rehabilitation Council of India (2019–2021)
- Honorary Doctoral Degree – Maryland State University, USA (2023)
Her thesis focused on assessment tools and home-based remedial plans for special education needs.
Career
Founder & Director – Thomas Kids International (2008–Present) After her graduation, Kajal Suri founded Thomas Kids International, a preschool chain based on multisensory learning, inclusive classrooms and modern developmental theories.
President – St. Thomas Academy of R&D (2009–Present) She leads this NGO, which provides teacher training, special education training and computer education.
Child Psychologist – TKI Multidisciplinary Clinic (2016–Present) At this clinic, she provides various therapies and assessments such as:
