Jay R Thakkar was born on 25 January 1981 in Savarkundla, Gujarat, India. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree. From the very beginning he was attracted to fashion, styling, and Indian cultural art forms, especially Gujarati folk dance.
Career
Jay R. Thakkar started his career as a fashion stylist, working on weddings, beauty pageants, photo shoots, celebrity appearances, and styling assignments for models and NRI clients. Over time, he broadened his artistic horizons to include luxury fashion design, specializing in Indian ethnic clothing and high-end shawls that combine tradition and modern style.
