Early Life & Education

Mumtaaj Sarfudeen was born on 14 August 1989 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She was raised in Egmore, Chennai, where her family resided for twenty years before relocating to Anna Nagar.

Her early education was completed at Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Egmore. Later she completed Bachelor of Arts degree from Women’s Christian College, Chennai, and then through Loyola College, she obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University. She also did the diplomas course in International Airline and Travel Management, and Cabin Crew Training respectively, and has the certifications in Pranic Healing and Digital Marketing.

Career

Mumtaaj began her professional journey in the corporate sector, where she collaborated on international projects with companies such as Citigroup, TCS, Siemens, RRD, Matrix, and UST for a period from 2003 to 2014. In her career she had positions of supervision and management wherein she was responsible for handling large teams and high-volume operations.

In 2017 she made a switch into digital content creation with emphasis on beauty and makeup. She has only collaborated with international and Indian brands but was also the participant in advanced virtual masterclasses with Colourpop Cosmetics. She not only created beauty content but also trained herself as a coffee artist specializing in latte art.

She has two YouTube channels and several Instagram pages where she shares content related to beauty, fashion, lifestyle, coffee, and food. Since 2017, she has been a member of the YouTube Partner Program. A number of her Instagram reels have had over 3 million, 14 million, and 25 million views.
