Ahan Shetty is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi language cinema. He is the son of Indian Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, and his acting debut is in the romantic-action movie Tadap (2021). Ahan Shetty was awarded the Star Debut of the Year – Male Critics for his performance in the movie Tadap. He is soon to be appeared in the movie Border 2.[1]

Early Life & Education

Ahan was born on 28th December 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, from a very renowned family. His father is a renowned actor named Suniel Shetty. His family also consists of his sister Athiya Shetty, also a renowned actress. Ever since Ahan was a young boy, he maintained an immense inclination towards acting. This interest resulted in his involvement in stage plays during his school days.

He has finished his schooling from American School of Bombay in Mumbai and then went to a university in America to pursue courses in acting and film making. Ahan has been trained in martial arts, fitness, and dancing and maintains a disciplined lifestyle in terms of physical fitness along with healthy living.[2]

Career

Ahan Shetty entered the Bollywood industry in 2021 by starring in the action and romantic film ‘Tadap’. It was directed by Milan Luthria, and it was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. This was a remake of the Telugu film ‘RX 100’. Before preparing for his debut, Ahan gained lots of weight and also started training physically.

“Tadap” had lukewarm reviews, but his acting in the movie was appreciated, particularly in action sequences. The movie was a commercial success and marked the beginning of his successful acting career as an actor in the movie industry.

He will soon be appearing in Border 2, the sequel to the war movie Border, released in 1997 and directed by Anurag Singh.
