Karan Patel is an Indian television actor and host. He is best known for his portrayal of Raman Bhalla in the popular Hindi television series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He has also played Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Over the years, Patel has emerged as one of the most recognized and celebrated faces on Indian television.
Early Life and Education
Karan Patel was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, into a Gujarati family. His father is Rashesh Patel. From a young age, Patel showed a keen interest in performing arts. To hone his skills, he underwent professional dance training at the Shiamak Davar Dance Academy, which played an important role in shaping his confidence and screen presence.
Career
Karan Patel began his acting career in 2003 with Balaji Telefilms. He made his television debut with the role of Vigyat in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Following this, he appeared in several popular television serials, including Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kasamh Se.
His first major breakthrough as a lead actor came with the television series Kasturi, in which he portrayed the character Robbie Sabarwal. In 2013, Patel achieved widespread fame and critical acclaim for his role as Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The character became iconic and earned him multiple awards and nominations. In 2020, he participated in the stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 and later returned to fiction television as Rishabh Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
