'Hamid Barkzi is an Indian model, dancer, and reality television personality who gained fame after winning MTV Roadies Revolution, MTV Splitsvilla X4 and The 50. He received widespread recognition for his calm and composed mind, muscular body, and gameplay, as he is one of the few contestants in the history of Indian reality television shows to have won both titles.[1][2]
Early Life & Education
Hamid Barkzi was born in New Delhi, India. He has Afghan roots and grew up in Delhi. Since childhood, he was passionate about fitness, dance, and sports. This passion of his led him to the world of entertainment and reality shows.
Hamid Barkzi completed his schooling from Laxman Public School in New Delhi. He further pursued his higher studies from Amity University and Pesteweed College. Simultaneously, he worked on his fitness and personality development.
Career
Early Career
Hamid established himself as a fitness fanatic and dancer before he made his first television appearance. He underwent extensive physical and mental training to prepare himself for success in competitive reality shows.
= Reality TV Career
Hamid achieved national recognition through his appearance on MTV Roadies Revolution. He competed on Nikhil Chinapa's team where he demonstrated discipline and task execution and leadership abilities which impressed viewers. He won the season after he proved himself to be a strong but calm competitor.
Hamid entered MTV Splitsvilla X4 after he won Roadies. He demonstrated his strategic abilities through his emotional intelligence while he played with Soundous Moufakir. The duo achieved victory in the season which made Hamid one of the few contestants who won both Roadies and Splitsvilla.
Hamid joined The 50 in 2026 which is a reality competition show that features 50 famous people. The show broadcasts on Colors TV while it offers streaming access through JioHotstar. His participation generated significant media attention.
