Faiz Jawid Sheik started his football journey with academy teams in Canada and gradually gained international exposure through training and development stints in Brazil and Portugal. His soccer career began with Malton Soccer Club from 2010 to 2012 before he joined Erin Mills SC Provincial Team, where he played from 2013 to 2017. His growing talent took him overseas, where he trained with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube in 2017, followed by stints with Estoril Praia and Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses between 2017 and 2018, further sharpening his professional skills in European football environments.
Senior Career
Faiz Jawid Sheik started his senior professional career in Europe, where he played for multiple teams across various European leagues. From 2018 to 2021 he played for C.D. Covadonga and during that period he achieved important victories by winning the league title while his team maintained an undefeated record throughout the entire season. He later played for Ribadesella during the 2020 to 2021 season in the Spanish lower divisions.
His career reached new heights when he began working in Romania with FC Rapid București and Progresul București from 2021 until 2022. The player achieved his second league championship victory during this timeframe while he ranked among the leading goal scorers. He also played for Rapid Bucharest U23 during a brief period.
From 2023 to 2025, Faiz played for Kickers Obertshausen, where the team finished in second place in the league. In 2025 he signed with Balestier Khalsa FC to begin his first professional experience which marked his entry into Asian football.
