Battleground Season 2 is an Indian fitness reality show that premiered on 17 April 2026 on Amazon MX Player. The show features its energetic competition format which includes demanding challenges and contestants who display strong character traits.[1]
The Supermentor role for this season is played by former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan who guides contestants through their competition path.[2]
Teams & Leaders
The season features four competitive teams, which each have their own dedicated mentor who will help lead their team throughout the competition.
- Delhi Dominators: Abhishek Malhan serves as the team leader because he shows strong leadership qualities while maintaining high levels of confidence and competitive spirit throughout the game.
- Mumbai Strikers: The team is lead by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who uses her strong personality to assert her leadership position.
- Telugu Tigers: Rahul Chaudhari serves as the team leader who develops his team through strategic planning and disciplinary measures and his professional background.
- Bhojpuri Bhaukaals: Khesari Lal Yadav leads his team as a guide who brings them both energy and entertainment while serving as their source of motivation.
The mentors establish essential functions that determine how their teams will perform during matches while driving their contestants to achieve success throughout the entire competition.
Promo Highlights
The promotional clips showcased entertaining banter and heated exchanges between the mentors which added excitement to the show´s narrative. Rahul Chaudhari emphasized strategy and experience while leading his team. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary responded strongly to public criticism with her statement which started with Naye naye aaye hain thoda chill karo then ended with my foot. Abhishek Malhan delivered a sharp comeback, stating that the show is not about “dancing on a bed,” while Khesari Lal Yadav added humor by remarking that it is a serious battleground, not a show for casual greetings on camera. The promo concluded with Shikhar Dhawan delivering a strong statement that The contestant who stays grounded till the end will win the game.
