His family was linked to one of the very first petrol import efforts in Eastern India around 1929 and they helped the growth of the petrol pump trade in the region. At the start they were operating out of Old China Bazar Street in Kolkata, later moving things to Central Avenue , Kolkata. It was kind of a slow shift , you know.

Career

Dr. Albert Dawn began his medical career in internal medicine and critical care, and he gathered real-world experience across several well regarded hospitals in India. From May 2016 to February 2018, he was a Critical Care Registrar at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Ltd., Kolkata, handling critically ill patients, emergency medical cases, plus trauma care procedures in a busy setting.

Then between July 2017 and August 2018, he moved into an administrative and clinical type position as Deputy Medical Superintendent at Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata. In that role, he oversaw day to day hospital operations, arranged patient care workflows , and worked toward making healthcare services run more smoothly, kind of more efficiently overall.

From March 2018 to May 2020, Dr. Dawn worked as a Gastroenterology Registrar at AMRI Hospitals, Mukundapur, Kolkata. During that timeframe, he stayed involved in emergency medicine and broader patient management, while also building deeper know how in gastroenterology as well as internal medicine.
