Urfi Javed was born on 15 October 1995 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She finished her schooling at City Montessori School, Lucknow and later she earned a degree in Mass Communication from Amity University, Lucknow.
She was born to Ifru Javed and Zakiya Sultana, and she grew up with three sisters, Urusa Javed , Asfi Javed , and Dolly Javed, plus a brother named Sameer Aslam.
In 2022, she officially changed the spelling of her name from Urfi to Uorfi.
Career
Television Career
Urfi started her acting path in 2016, with the television series Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania . In that show she played Avni Pant , and later she showed up in quite a few well known TV programmes like Chandra Nandini Meri Durga Bepannaah Jiji Maa Daayan, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and also Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 . Her work in daily soaps basically helped her get noticed, and stay on the radar of the Indian television world.
