Delbar Arya was born in Germany into an artistic family. Her father is a veteran Iranian actor with more than five decades of experience, while her mother is a singer. Inspired by her family's creative background, she developed a passion for acting at a young age and participated in theatre productions in Germany from the age of 13.
She later earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and received professional acting training at Actor Prepares, Mumbai. Delbar is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and is fluent in English, German, and Farsi. Her interest in Punjabi culture eventually led her to build a career in the Punjabi film industry.
