Lock Upp Season 2, officially titled Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, is basically the second season of the Indian reality show Lock Upp created by Ekta Kapoor. This season premiered on 27 June 2026 exclusively on Netflix. And the first season which was hosted by Kangana Ranaut , the second one is hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.[1][2][3]
The show keeps that same jail-themed reality format that everyone recognizes, where contestants, called inmates, end up living together inside a prison-inspired set , while they compete in tough tasks. Alongside that, there are nominations and eliminations too, plus they reveal personal truths as if they’re chasing the final prize title.[4]
Summary
Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa carries forward the franchise’s signature mix of psychological maneuvers, emotional disclosures, and high-stakes competition. Contestants from a bunch of backgrounds are locked inside the Lock Upp facility where they have to fight for survival by completing tasks, picking up privileges, and trying to win public attention. Over the whole season, inmates have to deal with alliances, conflicts, chess-like strategy, and personal struggles, all while steering clear of elimination.
Overview
After the success of the inaugural season in 2022, Lock Upp came back after a four-year break with a refreshed structure and a different hosting pair. Since it streams exclusively on Netflix, Season 2 brings in a totally new roster of contestants, from television, social media, fashion, business, and digital entertainment. The season still sticks to the jail-themed idea, but it also pushes the scale, production quality, and gameplay a bit further, like they actually expanded the whole vibe.
Format
Contestants known as inmates they live inside a jail themed house under constant surveillance or whatever. During the competition they go through physical, mental, and strategic tasks to grab immunity, privileges and public support. Also they are supposed to reveal personal truths and just deal with rough situations, that really test their relationships and how they play. Week by week, nominations and eliminations keep going until one inmate ends up winning the title and the big grand prize.

Production
Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa is created by Ekta Kapoor. Season 2 is basically the franchise moving from ALTBalaji and MX Player to Netflix. The show has an upgraded jail style set, plus new twists and a more polished gameplay vibe, and it also reaches a bigger online crowd because of the streaming platform.
Release and Broadcast
Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa premiered on 27 June 2026 and it streams only on Netflix. The series airs from Saturday to Wednesday at 8:00 PM IST, and new episodes land based on the platform schedule.
