Duggar Da Sammaan is a prestigious annual civilian honour instituted by GHRT International in 2026 to recognize outstanding individuals and institutions whose exceptional contributions have enriched society, strengthened the nation, and advanced the values of humanity.
The award celebrates the glorious heritage, culture, courage, and civilizational legacy of Duggar while honouring excellence across diverse fields of human endeavour. It recognizes individuals whose dedication, innovation, leadership, and selfless service have created a meaningful and lasting impact on society.
Presented annually in Jammu on 23 September, commemorating the birth anniversary of His Highness Maharaja Hari Singh, the award reflects his enduring ideals of justice, equality, education, progressive governance, and public service.
Each year, a select group of distinguished achievers from India and across the world shall be honoured for their remarkable achievements and exemplary service to humanity.

Eligibility
The Duggar Da Sammaan is open to deserving individuals and organizations without discrimination based on caste, colour, creed, religion, gender, language, nationality, profession, or economic background.
Eligible nominees include Indian citizens, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and distinguished international citizens aged 15 years and above who have made significant contributions to society, the nation, or humanity.

Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted by individuals, institutions, organizations, previous awardees, or through self-nomination, accompanied by supporting documents highlighting the nominee's achievements and contributions.
Selection Process
Stage I – Nomination
Receipt of nominations with supporting documentation.
Stage II – Preliminary Review
Verification of eligibility, achievements, authenticity, and supporting evidence.
Stage III – Expert Evaluation
Each nomination shall be evaluated on:

- Integrity and ethical conduct

- Sustainability of contribution
- National or international significance
- Promotion of humanitarian and cultural values
Stage IV – Final Approval
The Selection Committee appointed by GHRT International shall carefully review all shortlisted nominations and finalize the awardees.
The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding.

Code of Ethics
Recipients of the Duggar Da Sammaan are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and public conduct.
The honour may be withdrawn if any recipient is found guilty of fraud, corruption, criminal misconduct, hate speech, or any act that brings disrepute to the award or society.
