Early Life & Education
Namik Paul was born on 19 September 1987 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He completed his education at Lewis & Clark College, Oregon, USA, where he studied journalism. Before stepping into acting, he worked as a journalist with NDTV.
Career
Namik began his acting career in 2015 with Zee TV’s Qubool Hai, playing the role of Ahsaan. His breakthrough came in 2016 when he starred as Shravan Malhotra in Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, which made him a household name.
He gained further acclaim for his dual portrayal of Shiv Kapoor and Krish Khanna in Ek Deewaana Tha (2017–2018), a romantic thriller that showcased his range as an actor. Later, he appeared in Kumkum Bhagya as Shivansh Randhawa, earning appreciation for his performance.
