Early Life & Background
Paresh was born on 5 October 2000 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, and currently resides between Salem (India) and Limerick (Ireland). He became very interested in automation, sustainability, and the ways that technology can solve problems in the real world at a young age.
After graduating from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai (KTR Campus) with a B.Tech in mechatronics, he went on to the University of Limerick, Ireland, to earn a Master of Engineering degree in mechatronics and automation.
Career
Paresh started his professional career at Festo Didactic, where he obtained hands-on experience with PLC systems, robotics, and electro-pneumatics.
Later, he joined Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, where he worked in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, specializing in automation, control systems, and validation.
After that, Paresh contributed to the digital transformation of regulated industries as an Automation Engineer at NNIT, where he focused on controls, process automation, and SCADA/HMI systems.
In addition to his corporate work, he established Urban Roots Digital Farming, a startup that aims to combine automation and sustainable agriculture to empower people to responsibly grow their own food using intelligent, environmentally friendly systems.
