He came through Uttar Pradesh’s domestic cricket system, starting with age-group cricket before progressing to senior-level tournaments. His all-round abilities as a left-handed batter and economical spinner helped him stand out at the state level.
Career
Prashant Veer rose to prominence during the 2025 season of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League. He scored 320 runs in 10 innings while also contributing with crucial wickets, emerging as one of the tournament’s standout all-rounders. His performances earned him a call-up to the Ranji Trophy squad and led to his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh.
