Raghav Chadha is an Indian politician and chartered accountant. He works with the Aam Aadmi Party. He serves as a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament for Punjab at present. Chadha serves as a prominent AAP leader because of his youth while performing multiple political and administrative duties which include his work at the Delhi Legislative Assembly and the Delhi Jal Board. Early Life & Education
Raghav Chadha was born on 11 November 1988 in New Delhi, India. He completed his schooling from Modern School, New Delhi. He later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi in 2009.
After completing his studies, he became a Chartered Accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 2011. He began his professional journey by joining well-known international companies which included Deloitte and Grant Thornton where he acquired expertise in financial and consulting services before entering the political arena.
Career
Early Political Career & Entry into AAP
Raghav Chadha became a member of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during its initial development stage and quickly achieved recognition as one of its youngest leaders. His political career began when he worked on drafting policy documents which included his contributions to the development of the Delhi Lokpal Bill in 2012. Through this position he established direct relationships with senior party leaders which officially marked his transition to full political engagement.
He became a national spokesperson for AAP and developed into one of the party's most effective media representatives who appeared in public debates and press briefings to speak on behalf of the party.
Rise in AAP & Organizational Roles
Chadha received national treasurer responsibilities for AAP after the party achieved victory in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections because of his young age. He managed the financial operations of the party while he conducted organizational duties for his position.

He became Vice Chairman of Delhi Jal Board after his election victory. He worked to improve water supply systems and develop sanitation infrastructure and implement Yamuna River cleaning projects. Lok Sabha Election 2019
Raghav Chadha ran for the South Delhi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as an AAP candidate. He lost the election to Ramesh Bidhuri who ran for BJP despite his active campaign and strong visibility. Punjab Political Role & Rajya Sabha Entry

Outside his political career Chadha lives an ordinary life as a Chartered Accountant who works in his profession.
