He is known for transforming a small family-run imitation jewellery business into a modern online brand. Singh received the Meesho Rising Star Award in 2023 for his early achievements in digital jewellery retail.
Early Life and Education
Sandeep Singh was (born 10 November 1985) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, into a Yadav family. His father, Late Mahendra Pal Singh Yadav, worked with the Indian Railways, while his mother, Late Godawari Yadav, managed household and farming work.
He completed his schooling at New Public School in Lucknow. During his intermediate years, Singh faced academic pressure and emotional setbacks, which later helped shape his resilience and personal growth.
Sandeep Singh completed a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Allahabad Agricultural University (now SHUATS). He later earned an MBA (Distance Education) from ICFAI University, strengthening his understanding of business management and communication.
Career
After his studies, Singh moved to Gurgaon and began working at Pinnacle BPO. He later worked with various companies, gaining experience in customer service, operations and organisational systems.
In 2021, Singh started selling imitation jewellery online through Meesho under his family brand. With limited resources, he handled product listings, packaging, orders and customer support himself. His strong sales performance earned him the Meesho Rising Star Award in 2023.
Singh launched his first brand website, zhshop.in, under the name ZevarHouse in January 2024. The platform struggled to grow and incurred financial loss, but the experience motivated him to learn branding, e-commerce, photography and UI/UX design.
In January 2025, Singh introduced the brand ZHOME, focusing on minimalist jewellery and lifestyle products. The brand expanded quickly with improved product photography, packaging, category planning and digital marketing. ZHOME now receives consistent orders across India and has built a reputation for modern designs and premium packaging.
