Sharat Kumar Jha was born on 26 May 1977 in Darbhanga, Bihar, India, to Sri Ram Ekbal Jha and Late Smt Shakuntala Devi. His upbringing was steeped in the ideals of education, service, and culture. After earning his B.E. in engineering from MSRIT in Bengaluru, he went on to earn an MBA to gain more in-depth understanding of business and management.
