Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson is an Indian cricketer. He participates in ODI and T20 matches for India. In 2024 and 2026, he assisted India in winning the T20 World Cup. He won Player of the Tournament in 2026. He represents Kerala in domestic cricket and the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Early Life & Education
Sanju Samson was born on 11 November 1994 in Pulluvila, Kerala, India.[1][2]
He was raised and educated in Delhi. His family later relocated to Kerala so he could concentrate on cricket. He earned a degree in English literature after completing his studies in Thiruvananthapuram.
Career
Sanju began playing cricket in Delhi and went on to play in Kerala. In 2011, he made his first-class debut. In 2014, he served as India's Under-19 team's vice captain.
With the Rajasthan Royals, he began his IPL career in 2013 and was named an Emerging Player. He later played for the Delhi Capitals before rejoining the Rajasthan Royals. He was appointed captain of the Rajasthan Royals in 2021. He joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2025.
He was an excellent player who scored numerous hundreds in domestic cricket. He scored 212 runs (not out) in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2019.
He made his T20 and ODI debuts in international cricket in 2015 and 2021, respectively. His performance significantly improved after 2022. In 2023, he achieved his first century in an ODI.
He was crucial to India's victories in the 2024 and 2026 T20 World Cups. He excelled in 2026 and won Player of the Tournament.

Sanju Samson has achieved many notable works throughout his career. One of his notable works is when he scored an unbeaten 212 runs in the 2019 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He also achieved his first century in One Day Internationals in 2023. In addition to this, he has also played many strong innings in T20 matches.

Sanju Samson has achieved much recognition in his career. He achieved recognition in his early days by winning the Emerging Player award in the Indian Premier League in 2013. He also achieved much success in his career by winning the Player of the Tournament award in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. He was also an important member of the Indian cricket team, which helped India win the T20 World Cups in 2024 and 2026.
Personal Life
Sanju Samson got married to his girlfriend Charulatha Remesh in 2018. Sanju and Charulatha met in their college days, and they got married in Kerala.
