Urvil Mukesh Patel is an Indian cricketer. He plays for Gujarat in domestic cricket and for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman and also plays as a wicket-keeper.

Early Life

Urvil Mukesh Patel was born on 17th October 1998 in Mehsana, Gujarat, India.[1]

Career

Urvil Mukesh Patel's professional cricket journey began in 2018. He debuted in T20 for Baroda in Zonal T20 League on 7th January 2018. He then debuted in his first List A match for Baroda in Vijay Hazare Trophy on 7th February 2018.

He then shifted from Baroda to Gujarat before the 2018-19 season. He debuted in his first-class match for Gujarat in January 2024 against Tamil Nadu.

He became famous for his fast batting. On 27th November 2023, he scored the second-fastest century in List A cricket history by an Indian cricketer, scoring 100 runs in 41 balls. On 27th November 2024, he scored the fastest century in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy history for India against Tripura.
