Dr. Joshi began his professional career as a Senior Resident at JIPMER, Puducherry. He gained significant influence in both medical practice and education during his career, which has been a long time made up of contributions in the capacities of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in various prestigious medical institutions. His academic roles include Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka, MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital, Bengaluru, PES Medical College, Andhra Pradesh and The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Bengaluru.
